One year ago today, May 17, 2021, Governor Jay Inslee signed into law the historic Climate Commitment Act (CCA) (SB 5126). Since then, the Clean & Prosperous Institute has worked to provide leaders in Olympia with information and objective analyses to help drive smart implementation of the CCA. Our work continues. But only with your help.
Donate $51.26 to commemorate passage of SB 5126. Your donation will be matched 2:1 and will be used to support analysis, education, and coalition-building, helping to propel the Climate Commitment act into action and guide this essential program to achieve results.
This is painstaking, but essential work as Washington launches the nation’s most ambitious climate policy on our path to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Going forward, and with your help, we’ll engage in the rulemaking process and keep you informed of opportunities for public comment. And we’ll continue to keep you apprised of how the CCA impacts your world.
